Trudeau Valentines Day Gadgets Review

It’s almost Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day is a holiday that celebrates love. You don’t have to be romantically involved with someone to celebrate. You can buy a gift for anyone you love. I always get Noah something fun for Valentine’s Day. He always gets me something to show his love. I know that gifts don’t mean everything but it is nice to get or give a gift to someone. The traditional gifts are flowers and candy. If you want to get something nontraditional, I have a few ideas for you. They are great ideas if the person you love likes to cook.  I partnered with Trudeau to check out some of their Valentine’s Day gadgets. Trudeau has so many wonderful products, you couldn’t go wrong with any of their products.  I had a chance to check out the Bedside Espresso Maker, The Biana Espresso Cups and the Heart Shaped Silicone Egg and Pancake Mold.

The Bedside Espresso Maker is a great gadget to make fresh and delicious espresso right on your stove. You just place it on the burner of your stove and soon you will have an amazing espresso to drink. It’s not as bulky as a traditional espresso maker so you can save space. This would be a great gift for the coffee lover in your life.  It’s definitely much more affordable than a huge espresso maker. It’s the Italian way of making espresso on your stove top. It’s also really pretty to look at. It’s made out of stainless steel so it will match your appliances.  It can be stored on your counter or in a cabinet. You can serve your sweetie Espresso in bed anytime.  You can pick it up for $69.99

What’s espresso without the cute little cups? I love the Biana Espresso Cups because they are the perfect size for a nice hot cup of espresso to give your morning a kick! Noah likes to drink juice out of them because he thinks it’s cute. It’s also the perfect size for a tea party.  It keeps your espresso hot. The Biana Espresso Cups are $6.99.

The heart shaped silicone egg and pancake mold is easy to use. I am horrible at making shaped pancakes. It never turns out right. I knew that you could use molds but I was never sure which ones were safe to use. It’s made out of silicone so it won’t melt and it won’t stick to the mold. I have heard of people using metal molds and it making a mess.  It even has a handle to help you make the perfect heart shaped pancakes.  We are starting a new tradition of heart shaped pancakes on Valentine’s Day. Noah was a little apprehensive about heart shaped pancakes, but I assured him that it’s ok. He can be really silly sometimes. I think that I will also use it for St. Patrick’s Day and try and make shamrocks out of the heart shape too. The Heart Shaped Silicone Egg and Pancake Mold is $5.99. That is very affordable and it’s fun to use. You can even get your kids in on the action.

For more information check out the Trudeau Website. Hope you have an amazing Valentine’s Day.
I received the products mentioned for review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Tips for Finding a New Home

As the daughter of a former real estate agent, I learned at a young age that buying real estate is a good investment. Homes tend to hold their value over time. You can always make improvements to increase the value. Upgrades are always a great idea too. When a person is looking for a home, they want it to be nice and up to date. Consider updating appliances, replacing carpets and adding different fixtures that make your home really have a wow factor. If you like to travel to the same place very often, consider purchasing a vacation home, especially if you spend more than a week. You can always rent it out as a vacation home during the months you are not visiting. That will help with the upkeep of the yard and the home. You also don’t have to worry about having an empty home just sitting there.  I think that renting it out a week or two at a time is a good option in case you decide to make a trip. That way you don’t have to worry about if someone is there or not. I have good friends who live in Michigan and spend all winter in the house they bought in Florida. They may be the smartest friends I have. It would be great to not worry about finding a hotel to stay in. You can leave what you want, and not have to worry about anything. There’s no one to bother you or make loud noises at 3 am.

Another thing to consider is where you should buy the property. Home values vary from area. Consider buying a home in Vancouver, Canada right now as the American dollar is so high. You may get more for your money that way. Vancouver is a really neat area. When you do decide to purchase a home to live in or as a summer home, you may find it difficult to start. You also need to find a great area to buy in. A knowledgeable real estate agent is key.  Many people get recommendations as who to use when looking to buy or sell their home. If you don’t know anyone you are kind of left to your own devices. If you are moving to Vancouver here’s a really neat site to check out. There’s some really beautiful North Delta Real Estate available. I can picture my family living in one house in particular. It even has the basement Noah desperately wants. It sounds like an area we would live in. I really like this site because not only are the properties awesome, but they also give you information on the wonderful area. I know when I am relocating the most important thing for me, is the schools. I want to know that my son is getting a great education. Believe it or not I have considered moving to Vancouver before. After all that’s where my favorite and very hard to find salami is made. After the schools, I also want to make sure I live in an area that has plenty of fun things to do, lots of places to eat and places for Noah to play.  Buying or even selling your house can be really stressful if you are unsure what you are doing. You really need a professional to guide you through the process and help you find the home of your dreams.

Tips for Starting Your Car in the Morning Safely

On cold mornings, we dread going outside to go to work. We are nice and warm in our homes. We have to scrape our windows to be able to drive safely. We have gotten in the habit of starting our cars so they are warm when we get in them.  Maybe your spouse will brave the cold and get your car ready for you in the morning. It can be dangerous to do this though. Car thieves will drive around neighborhoods in the morning looking for that running Mercedes with no one inside. They will just take it and drive off and you suffer the loss of your car. You need to take the necessary steps to keep you and your car safe. Especially if you have a really nice car. Thankfully most new cars have an option for heated seats so you won’t be too cold if you need to get in a cold car.  You could always park in the garage so your car isn’t as cold in the morning and you wouldn’t need to let it warm up before you leave in the mornings. You also eliminate any need to scrape your car’s windshield.

Here’s some tips to help keep your car safe in the mornings:

1 If you are going to warm up your car, use your spare key and lock it. It will be harder to steal if the doors are locked.

2 Have someone keep an eye on the car from the inside of your home.

3 Make sure you have the headlights on and other outside lights too. They will think someone is inside the car waiting to pick someone up.  Don’t have the lights inside the car on.

4 Keep an eye out for your neighbor’s cars too. Report anything suspicious to the police. It’s better to be mistaken than not do anything.

5 Do not keep valuables or house keys in your car. Your key should be separate from your house key in case your car is taken. You don’t want to invite the crook in to your home too.  After all they do know where you live.

6 Be aware of your surroundings and who is around when you start your car in the morning.  You can never be too careful.
