Hollywood Darlings on POP

I grew up watching Full House and Step by Step each week. I loved watching both shows. I would also occasionally watch 7th Heaven. I still occasionally watch Full House and wish Step by Step was still on. I can watch 7th Heaven too. So, when I heard about the show Hollywood Darlings, I couldn't wait to watch it. They started showing commercials of it a while ago. I kept checking the guide to see if it's on yet. 

Hollywood Darlings is Pop’s newest original comedy series starring 90s fan favorites Jodie Sweetin (Full(er) House), Beverley Mitchell (7th Heaven) and Christine Lakin (Step by Step) premieres on April 12, 8pm ET/PT.  The comedy series focuses on their unique childhood actor sisterhood that has bonded them as real life friends. They play exaggerated versions of themselves as they navigate motherhood, careers and life in LA. I used to want to be an actress because it looked like fun. I always wondered if child stars remained friends. I know sometimes it's hard to maintain friendships as a non-celebrity. 

  

HOLLYWOOD DARLINGS turns the camera on real-life friends who are bonded by a sisterhood that only they can share as former child stars who grew up in the 90’s limelight – Jodie Sweetin (“Full House,” “Fuller House”), Christine Lakin (“Step By Step”) and Beverley Mitchell (“7th Heaven”). In this improvised comedy, the three actresses play exaggerated versions of themselves in their current Hollywood lives. With the support of one another, this girl squad can take on anything when it comes to parenting, marriage, friendship and revived careers in Hollywood.

 I am so excited about the guest stars too. It's like a big Sheila childhood reunion. I love the 90's so much. I usually listen to 90's music.  HOLLYWOOD DARLINGS will feature cameos from Soleil Moon Frye from Punky Brewster, which was one of my favorite shows. I can still sing the theme. I always think about Cherrie when people play hide and seek. I told Noah never to hide in a freezer. Andrew Keegan was one of my many crushes. He was in Camp Nowhere. Tamera Mowry (“Sister, Sister”) is still someone I look up to today. Lance Bass(NSYNC), Andrea Barber (“Full House”), Nicholle Tom (“The Nanny”), Heather Tom (“Y&R”),Patrick Duffy (“Dallas,” “Step By Step”), Staci Keanan (“Step By Step”) and Wanya Morris(Boyz II Men. Some child actors go on to other things and you never hear about them again. I love that they are doing this show for people like me who grew up with these kids. 

I can't wait to see all the shenanigans. I am sure I will be able to relate as an adult and mom just as I was able to relate to them as a kid.
