We love the 4th of July. It’s one of our favorite holidays. We both love history and America. Noah and I went to Washington DC a few weeks ago. It was so cool to see the history. We only were able to see a small section because there’s so much to do. We are already talking about a return trip.
While we love the Fourth of July, it’s usually an evening event. Sure, we have a cook out and hang out with family but it would be fun to have something fun to do during the day other than Carmelfest. Carmelfest is fun but it’s the same every year. I would love to do something different this year.
Conner Prairie is having an event called Glorious 4th. Conner Prairie is an awesome interactive history park in Fishers, Indiana. We love Conner Prairie and their special events. They are always fun. Here’s more information about Glorious 4th at Conner Prairie:

Help to decorate with bunting, test your knowledge with a history quiz at the Schoolhouse, enjoy a patriotic presentation in the Prairietown Grove, and muster with the local White River Guard militia.
