Dream Bathroom

If you think about the rooms in your home that you use a lot, the bathroom may come to mind. There are different types of bathrooms. There are powder rooms which are just a sink and a toilet and full bathrooms with a tub and shower. 

If I were to think of my dream bathroom, I would know exactly what I would want. It would have pretty light blue walls. It would also have a big vanity with double sinks. The sinks and counters would be a solid surface. Either granite or marble. All the fixtures would be brushed nickel. I would love big white cabinets with Posts of storage. A nice linen closet with built in shelves. I would also want a heated towel rack. The drawers would have built in organizers. 

The toilet would be in its own little room complete with a door of its own. The toilet seat would be heated. It would automatically flush too. I would have heated floors and heated lamps to keep it warm. There would be a separate stand up shower with a really nice hand held shower head. The tub would be huge with lots of jets and comfortable seating. 

My aunt and uncle live in the mountains so they have a huge picture window over their tub. I don’t think that would work in my current home. I would also like to have a built in fish tank in the wall if possible. Maybe even some dimmable lighting and built in speaker system. I love singing in the shower. Music is a must for me. 

Some people find solace in their bathrooms. It’s a great place to relax and refresh. Getting work done on your home can seem like a daunting experience. It’s really not that bad. As long as you have a professional do the work. You don’t want to hire some random people to work on your home. Remember that your home is an investment. You need to make sure the contractor or company is licensed. You also need to make sure they know what are doing. You don’t want to allow just anyone to come in your home let alone knock down walls and rip out your sink or toilet.

 It’s also a good idea to ask for recommendations from family or friends. Reviews are always great to read too. Remember that when you read reviews, you have to be objective. You need to be able to discern if the person writing the review is angry for something small. Check multiple reviews. Look at the Better Business Bureau rankings. It’s not a bad idea to take a look at their license or licenses online. Just because they say they have one, they might be dishonest.
