The Holiday Season is officially here! That means lots of great food and shopping and gifts and of course your family. To help you cope with the holidays, I have teamed up with Blockbuster to remind you that your family might not be as dysfunctional as you think. Blockbuster has composed a list of Dysfunctional Family Movies for you to enjoy.
The list of movies are Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Scent of a Woman, Hannah and her Sisters, Nobody’s Fool, Home for the Holidays, Pieces of April, The Ice Storm, and The House of Yes. Blockbuster has also complied a fun trivia game for me to share with you. All of the questions have come from these eight movies.

Short story: I think every family is dysfunctional in one way or another. At Christmas time, there is alwasy an argument over what food is going to be made. One person wants one thing, another wants something else, and the bickering goes on and on! Who cares what food is being made. It's Christmas time and we should be thankful we even have food in the first place! I really don't think they get it. Thanks for the giveaway.

My dysfunctional family story: My sister refused to show up at my parents house for Thanksgiving a few weeks ago because I was there (I live 7 hours away and had traveled up). My parents pretended she didn't even exist and wouldn't talk about her or the fact she was MIA!

ReplyDeleteMy family is so crazy. To protect their identity, I'll say an older woman in my family that was very close to me took off with another lady from my familys boyfriend and married him. He's half her age, which you love who you love I guesss but it all happened so weird. Lots more to that story, too much for regular tv. :D
