Glysolid Skin Cream Review

Skin is a very important organ. You need to protect it and keep it soft. I can’t stand when my skin is rough or dry. I have pretty soft skin naturally in most places but, my feet, knees and elbows get dry often. It’s hard to find products that work well. Most skin creams claim to make your skin soft but it seems to only work until the cream has been completely rubbed in. After it wears off, it’s just a short while before your skin is rough again.I had the chance to try out Glysolid Skin Cream. It’s made by Burnus GmbH in Darmstadt, Germany. It has been available in the US for over 20 years and available in Europe for the last 70 years. You know when a company lasts that long, it must be something special.  Glysolid is also Vegan so anyone can use it. I love that they are not using harmful products or using animals to make their product.

Here’s some information about Glysolid:

GlycerinMost skin care products contain a little glycerin. However, Glysolid® is unique in that it contains 50% glycerin.

Here are just a few of the many benefits of glycerin.
Excellent for Dry Skin: When glycerin is applied to the skin, it forms a light, protective film, sealing in the skin's natural oils and moisture.

Glycerin also attracts water, bringing additional moisture into the skin. This makes it very helpful in preventing and combating dry skin. Skin becomes noticeably softer, suppler, and more elastic.
Makes Skin Look & Feel Healthier: By moisturizing your skin, glycerin improves the tone and health of your skin.

Moisturized skin can also prevent the onset of unsightly skin features, such as wrinkles and stretch marks.

Glycerin can therefore help to keep premature aging signs at bay.Helpful for Skin Disorders: Glycerin promotes normal skin cell maturation. With some skin diseases, such as psoriasis, skin cells shed too quickly, before they properly mature, causing thickened, scaly skin.
Glycerin can interrupt this abnormal process, and allows the cells to reach full maturation before shedding. Glycerin can also soothe the dryness and itching related to eczema.

Allantoin
Another active ingredient of Glysolid® is allantoin, a natural, plant-derived cosmetic ingredient. Allantoin is a moisturizing, healing, anti-irritating, soothing, skin protectant that increases the water content of the skin. It is well tolerated by the skin and its proven benefits include:Helps soothe skin irritations,Softens and smooths the skin,Cares for cracked, raw and strained skin

Promotes the healing of small burns, wounds, nicks, and cuts,Promotes healthy cell renewal,Encourages skin to shed dead cells and grow new ones,Helps reduce free radical activity on the skin. What You Won't Find in Glysolid®

Glysolid® contains no mineral oils, parabens, petroleum, or cheap fillers. It also contains no skin irritants, such as perfumes, coloring, or preservatives. This makes Glysolid® compatible with all skin types, including sensitive skin.

I really enjoy using Glysolid. It works really well on my feet. I love being barefoot so, my feet always take a beating.  My feet had lots of dry skin on them. It was pretty gross. I have never had a professional pedicure before. It’s also great on my elbows which tend to crack and cause bleeding. It smells great too. I tried it out for a couple weeks to see how well it works and I am impressed. It makes my skin so soft and looks healthier.

I like to use it after I shower. It also works great after you shave your legs.  It makes my legs so soft and silky.  Normally when I nick myself shaving, lotion really hurts but Glysolid helps promote healing and it doesn’t sting or hurt.  I use a little to rub Noah’s back sometimes. He likes it. It works great on his skin. I don’t use much on him because I want to use it all myself.
