My Top Three Engagement Rings

Jewelry can mean so many different things.  You give a ring when you want to spend the rest of your life with someone, you give your mom a gift as a thank you for all she has done for you, and you even gave your best friend half of a heart symbolizing that you will be best friends forever. Now if you actually remain best friends forever is really an achievement.  I know for most guys it can become very confusing what to get, what’s good quality and what is worth the price they are paying. You may as well be speaking in foreign tongues. Now that spring is in full bloom, and there’s love and flowers everywhere, guys are starting to propose and start ring shopping for the love of their life. Some guys don’t have time spend hours and hours in different jewelry stores chit chatting with the sales associate. Thankfully, because of the internet, they can shop for engagement rings in their home without the extra fluff and frustration.  Of course you wouldn’t buy a ring out of the back of a van so you need to make sure that the site is reputable like Anjolee.

Anjolee has gorgeous engagement rings and wedding sets that would make anyone melt. They also have great guarantees, when you order a diamond ring, you get a diamond ring. I also like that everything can be customized. You can pick the metal, the size of the stones and you can even get it engraved. That way you can create the perfect ring.  If I were looking for an engagement ring here are a few I like:

I really love the Lucky Number 7 engagement ring. It’s gorgeous! I love all the sparkly diamonds. It’s beautiful but not too much. Some rings are just so big you don’t even know what to do with them. I definitely prefer silver over gold too. I love how pretty this ring is!

The Alluring Diamond engagement ring is also really pretty. I love the size of it. It is more traditional and very classy. It would be stunning on anyone’s hand.

I love the shape of the Superb Swirl Diamond Engagement Ring. It’s so unique. I have never seen a ring shaped like that. I love how unique all the different rings are. You aren’t going to find someone with the exact same ring because Anjolee is so different than what you can find at your local jewelers.

If you aren’t in the market for an engagement ring, Anjolee has custom rings, diamond bracelets and pedants that all would be an amazing gift for the person you love!

A Bargain Hunter’s Pick: Brilliance.com

You know those times when you really go out of your way to find that shop that gives the best deals which make all your efforts worth it? Thanks to the Internet, you no longer have to squeeze into crowds of hagglers or tread some back alley to find a great bargain, you just need to type in the following letters in your address bar:
http://www.brilliance.com

Diamonds are notoriously expensive, and I think everyone is already well aware of that fact. But for the gentleman who wishes to propose to his woman, for the jewelry aficionado wanting to acquire another potential heirloom, or for the fashionista who is looking to dazzle, backing down is not an option. The only question in their minds would be “How much?”

Everyone wants to get their money’s worth and perhaps more, and this is exactly what you are going to get at Brilliance.com. These guys are somewhat of a well-kept secret; they’ve been around for almost 2 decades now and have amassed a small following of loyal customers, but their prices are definitely at par or lower than most of the big names in online jewelry shopping.

Their Low Price Guarantee is possibly the only thing you’ll need to be convinced. Brilliance specializes in diamond engagement rings, and their Solitaire and Preset rings are very competitively priced, but their Low Price Guarantee effectively assures you that they’ll match the price of the same item found elsewhere.

At this price, you get not only the item you had in mind, you also get additional complementary services for free. Brilliance’s Free Complementary Shipping and their stylish Lacquered Gift Box is a particularly classy touch, while their 30 Day Returns, Lifetime Warranty and Upgrades and Free Ring Resizing are signs that you are buying from an esteemed retailer.

All of their certified loose diamonds are conflict free, as Brilliance’s is a staunch supporter of the Kimberly Process. They only sell diamonds and gems which have been mined in an ethically and environmentally conscious manner. This means that while every item you purchase from Brilliance is definitely a steal, you still get to enjoy it guilt-free!

Jewelry For Him

In the past, the most jewelry that a man would wear was a wedding band, often it was simply chosen amongst a few men’s wedding rings and was a plain gold band. Well the times they are a changin'. Now we are seeing men in stud earrings, beautiful, engraved and, even, engagement rings! Here are 3 hot men’s jewelry trends for 2011:

1. There is more to men's rings than men's wedding rings! We are seeing more and more men choose stunning rings simply for their beauty and craft, not to serve a purpose. Men are no longer limited to rings solely for marriage; they can now broaden their collection with any number of engraved bands simply for fun and style.

2. Men's engagement rings are very 2011. Women are now taking the bull by the horns, so to speak, and proposing to their boyfriends themselves. No longer is a proposal man only territory, it is becoming increasingly unisex, as are engagement rings. Often a men’s engagement ring looks similar to a wedding band, perhaps with a simple diamond inlay or some beautiful engraving surrounding the band.

3. What if he is not into rings? Then diamond stud earrings are definitely the way to go. Erase the image this evokes of large tacky bling, and replace it with beautiful and subtle diamond stud earrings. That’s what men are doing; studs are in, classic and going nowhere so this is a wonderful investment for any man.

Good luck men, let your inner jewelry aficionado loose, there is no better time than 2011!
