The Swiss Colony Review and Live Giveaway!
We have been receiving The Swiss Colony catalog every year for as long as I can remember. One year I asked for one of the boxes of treats for Christmas. It was one of my favorite gifts that year. It was full of delicious candy including a chocolate Santa. I have the opportunity to include The Swiss Colony in my holiday gift guide this year. I received the Holi-bars set. It has Cheddar Cheese, BEEF LOG ® and Summer Sausages, Smokey Cheddar 'n Pecan Cheese Log, Dobosh and Double Chocolate Tortes. I received the set of 8 so it also had Kreme Kaese Cheese and Swiss & Cheddar/Almond Log. Right now they have a bonus gift with the Holi-Bars which is 24 mini petit fours. Noah actually opened the refrigerator and got in to the mini petit fours. I caught him before he ate the whole box, which he would have done if he had the chance. He really likes the petit fours. I have to agree with him there. My favorite were the meats. We made a great platter of meats and the cheese. We also had crackers for the cheese logs. Then for dessert we had tortes. You could make a meal out of the goodies in this box or a beautiful snack tray for your holiday guests. It would also be a wonderful gift for those that live far away especially if The Swiss Colony is a family tradition like it is for my family.
For more information please visit The Swiss Colony.
Thank you to The Swiss Colony for sending my family a sample box of the Holi-Bars for my family to enjoy and providing the giveaway prize.
I have a LIVE giveaway for you.
One (1) lucky winner will win an item from the Swiss Colony of their choice under $30.
Mandatory Entry: Please visit The Swiss Colony website and tell me what you would like to win.
You may comment as many times as you want after that about whatever you want. The comments have to be at least a full sentence to count. No copy and pasting the same comment over and over again. That is not fair to those who actually take the time to comment honestly.
This giveaway will end at 11:59 pm ET December 16, 2010. I will use random.org to pick a random winner.

Well, it says we can comment as many times as we want and it doesn't give a topic. What one item is at the top of your wishlist this year?
ReplyDeleteLet's get the comments rolling!

ReplyDeleteBut, the Pumpkin-Pecan Cheesecake also sounds really good.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to win the Gourmet Brownies.
ReplyDeletekarin56381 (at) gmail.com
I would also love to try their truffles.
ReplyDeleteI would love to get a Nook for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteOr a laptop. But, I don't think that either of them will be under the tree.
ReplyDeleteIt's funny that you mention the Nook. My wife is an avid reader, but has no interest in the electronic readers.
ReplyDeleteMy wife sure could use a new laptop this year too! Her's is about 4 years old and hardware stuff keeps failing. I'm getting tired of tearing apart and repairing laptops. ha.
ReplyDeleteI love to read and wouldn't mind taking it to the level with the Nook. I would also be using it for it's internet capabilities though as well.
ReplyDeleteI have a regular desktop for now, which was more than I could have asked for. But, I would love to have a laptop for on the go. Or even a netbook.
ReplyDeleteBut, I would be totally willing to take a Nook over a Laptop or vice versa.
ReplyDeleteI guess it all depends on how taxes go! Lol.
ReplyDeleteI just can't wait for Christmas morning to come. My 3 year old will be thrilled with the things that I {I mean Santa} have brought for him.
ReplyDeleteI actually have won the majority of his gifts this year. Last year, I only purchased about $30 worth of clothing to add to all the wonderful gifts that I won.
ReplyDeleteThis year he is getting a toddler/small child sized basketball hoop and ball and a really neat Tandem Space Hopper from Wild Creations! I am so excited to see his reaction!
ReplyDeleteYeah as long as you do the main entry you can comment about whatever you want. :)
ReplyDeleteI also won him a few shirts, some eco art supplies, remote conrtol helicopter, and a tonka truck!
ReplyDeleteI am very excited to spend this weekend making fudge for our upcoming family Christmas get-togther.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for all the family to get here next weekend. My son will be so happy to see his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of young kids and Christmas gifts. My son got into our closet today and opened his presents already.
ReplyDeleteOoooo, I love fudge! I think my favorite is peanut butter fudge or maybe some of the super specialty ones we tried in Gatlinburg a couple years ago.
ReplyDeletemattschmunk at gmail dot com
I would get the Mini Baklava.... oh I love that stuff.

Hubbys favorite from the Swiss Colony was the cheese and sausage packages.. oh and their cheddar cheese in the crock. I might have to get him some this year, as it's been years since we've ordered.
ReplyDelete1prizewinner(at)gmail(dot)com
Haven't ordered in awhile but they make great gifts -- also some of the malls have kiosk's with them locally - so you can get the same great stuff without paying shipping.
ReplyDelete1prizewinner(at)gmail(dot)com
I've never tried their fudge, but now that Matt mentioned it earlier in this thread I am going to check it out.
ReplyDeleteI think the scrumptious snowmen are too cute!! Thanks so much! pamelashockley(AT)aol(DOT)com
