It's Tax Season Again

It’s tax season…again… in July last year, I would have dreams about having to do my taxes again. It’s not my favorite thing to do. It’s annoying and can be difficult. Oh the joys of being an adult. Really it’s not that bad. If you are lucky enough to get a refund, that’s always fun. Something I always think of when I heard the words tax refund is Judge Mathis. I love court shows, and it always seems that people will tell others that they will pay them back when they get their refund. Rarely does that happen, well of course not, they are on a court show. Judge Mathis always says, something like you will never see the money if they say they will pay you back when they get their refund check. I am not saying you can kiss the money good bye forever, just be cautious.  Things come up, it’s life. Things break, bills stack up, people get sick, and cars break down. Then you have to use your tax refund on a new car. Life is so unexpected like that. That’s probably another reason you shouldn’t count on someone paying you back with their tax refund. Some people don’t get refunds and have to pay to Uncle Sam.  Noah heard me say Uncle Sam the other day, he said I didn’t know I had an Uncle Sam, who is he?  I said it’s a nickname for the government and taxes. It started back with Uncle Sam wants you as a mascot for people to join the military. I am not too sure if my answer was 100% correct or not, but it was close enough. He went back to talking about all the inventions he is going to make. Good luck on doing your taxes and hopefully you will get a refund and not owe anything.
