Revell Jr Firetruck Review

Noah has always loved to build things. He loves to put things together. When he was very young, he was interested in how things work. My mom and I decided he got that trait from his great grandpa. My grandpa was a diesel mechanic and he would take things apart and figure out how they worked and then put them back together. When Noah was younger, it was hard to find toys that were building toys that weren’t blocks. Most of the building toys were for older kids. I remember when I had bought a couple small building kits, it was me who was doing all the work. He loved to assist me but I think he would have rather done it himself. As he has gotten older, he has become very handy with a small hammer and screwdriver and loves to go to building classes.

I learned about a line of toys that had younger kids in mind. It’s called Revell Jr. Kits. They are model kits for kids as young as four years old. There is a special satisfaction about putting something together all by yourself. It’s such an accomplishment and with Revell Jr. Kits your child can achieve this. There are five different kits, so there is something for everyone. They are a Racecar, a Roadster, a Fire Truck, and an Off Road Vehicle. We received the Firetruck to try out. I wasn’t sure if Noah would like the toy because it’s easy enough for a four-year-old to do, however he loved putting it together.

Here’s the info about the Firetruck:

It was easy for him to understand and assemble.  I just sat there and watched him. I really wanted to help because it looked like fun. We sat at the kitchen table and talked while he built the Firetruck. He was very proud of it and asked if there were more kits. I said yes, there’s four more. He asked if we could get more. He wants to display them in his room when he’s not playing with them.
