Enjoying Cocktails with Friends

I have become close to a few of my neighbors.  They are my neighbors but I also consider them my friends. We have started a tradition of getting together for cocktails by the pool or the sun deck. We normally share a meal together and have a great time enjoying each other’s company. I am not a big drinker but I love to create and try new cocktails. I don't really like beer and I don't really drink wine. It's fun to occasionally get together with friends and have an adult beverage together. It is usually very spontaneous.  We like to talk about everything from our children to current events.

I am always looking for new drink recipes. Some I learn from friends but the best place is the Internet. You can have access to so many different places. My favorite liquor is coconut rum, so I love drinks with it in it. You can find out how to make Coconut rum here. I usually have some coconut rum in my home. I just read a great article on different cocktails. I think that the Bikini Brazilian cocktail recipe sounds amazingly good.  It has coconut rum and grapefruit juice in it.  I love how it also suggests alternative ideas in case you don't have or don't care for a certain thing.  Sometimes it is difficult to come up with an alternative ingredient that still tastes good. I have done some crazy experiments. They sounded good in theory.  Some concoctions I have made turned out great and others terrible. I’d like to try and make this crazy cocktail recipe which has coconut rum, pineapples, limes and raspberries. There are so many delicious recipes to try. I think it would be fun to start trying new cocktails every time we get together.

I can't wait to make it for our next get together. Living in Florida, ripe grapefruit is very easy to find too. I can definitely see my friends and me sipping these surrounded by palm trees.

What kinds of cocktails do you like to drink?

Make your Website Mobile with BeMobile4U

Most everyone has a smart phone. So, surfing the net on your phone is a really common thing to do.  I know that I will go days sometimes without touching my computer. If I am traveling I will just use my phone. I can check email, go to any site I want in the palm of my hand. It has been really convenient for me, especially when my computer decides that it wants to stop working. It is great because I can be connected wherever I am, any time. I may be a little too attached to my phone at some times. I know when to put it down but if I am at the grocery store waiting in line sometimes I like to check my email or look at websites. It is also a good thing to have when you are out and are looking for a specific restaurant to eat at.  Sometimes Noah wants to go to Steak n Shake and since I am fairly new to the area, I don’t know where they all are or how to get there.  So, it is extremely helpful.

I have been blogging for over four years and using the internet for over twenty years. One thing I have noticed since I have had a smart phone and even when I had a cell phone with internet, not every site is mobile friendly.  Mobile friendly means that it has a mobile version. It is optimized for mobile use.  Sure you can go to a website, but it can be extremely hard to read if it is the full site. A mobile version makes it really easy to navigate and look for things.  I think that it is very important to have a mobile site to cater to your visitors.  I know that if a website is hard for me to read and navigate, close the site.  I don’t have time to scroll and shrink and squint to find the information I am looking for.  I know that my mom for example wears reading glasses, she can’t see small print. Sometimes the layout is all messed up or the font is funky and she is just like I can’t read this.  You are losing customers or readers by not having a mobile site.  You are losing money and business.

How do you make your site mobile?  I found a great website called BeMobile4U. It is really easy to use. You just put in your website and they do all the work for you. You embed java script code on your site and you are now mobile. It is a must have to stay in business in this day and age.  They even give you a QR Code and your customers can scan it and it takes you to your mobile site. I have seen QR Codes on everything from packages to on the side of buses.  BeMobile4U has three plans to suit everyone’s needs. They have a Mobile Free Plan, Mobile Smart Plan and a Mobile Pro Plan.  The Mobile Free plan would be good for a basic informational site.  The Mobile Smart Plan and the Mobile Pro Plan have some extra awesome features like click to call, click to email, click to map which make it easy for your customers to get in contact with you.  Communication is the key to a successful business.  You can even have AD Sense on your mobile site, which helps you also make money on your mobile site. It isn’t just limited to computers now.  I think that some companies don’t have a mobile site because they don’t know how to get one. You don’t have to hire some IT guy to reconfigure your site, just go to BeMobile4U and they will take great care of you.  The Mobile Pro Plan is only $25 a month which is very affordable and you can focus on other things and bring in new customers.

Pinxav Diaper Rash Cream Review

When Noah was a baby, he would get an occasional diaper rash. I was a first time mom and I wasn’t sure which the best diaper rash cream to use was.  I would just use whichever brand, I had coupons for or that was on sale. It worked pretty well. I remember one of the times Noah had diaper rash, I was out of cream. I asked a friend of mine to please stop at the store and pick some up.  My friend happened to be a guy, who has no children, he asked me what kind and I gave him a few choices, followed by whichever is cheapest. He told me after he went to the store that he asked the pharmacist which one to get.  I thought it was funny because he asked.  He also ended up getting a brand I didn’t know about. I trusted it because of who made it, but it was a very funny conversation.   It really is hard to know which cream works. I learned about a brand of diaper rash cream called Pinxav.

Pinxav First Aid Cream

Pinxav was developed in 1927 by Milford Harris along with a dedicated group of doctors and pharmacists, all of whom collaborated to create an effective treatment for diaper rash, a common and painful condition that affects millions of babies every year. In fact, because the sensitive skin of a newborn is no match for a wet, soiled diaper, most babies develop diaper rash at some point during infancy and beyond. The good news is that diaper rashes are rarely serious and respond readily to Pinxav.

Now that Noah is older he obviously doesn’t have diaper rashes. You can use Pinxav for other things, if your child is no longer in diapers. It works well for chaffing and if you have heat rash. I remember my ex had heat rash from the laptop, and his mom who was a nurse practitioner told us to use diaper rash cream.   It can prevent your skin from cracking and as first aid cream.  Every family can use a good first aid cream.  Not only does Pinxav contain 30% zinc oxide but it also contains a list of extra ingredients that helps heal and soothe the area it is applied to.  Those ingredients are Lanolin, Aloe, Vitamin E, Oil of Clove, Menthol, Eucalyptol, and Petrolatum to name several. They all have their own special reason they are in the Pinxav formula. It is also all natural.

I think that Pinxav would be a great addition to a new baby gift because you should always have diaper rash cream on hand for those late night diaper rashes when nothing is open and you don’t really want to leave. Pinxav is a must for a first aid kit no matter your age.

For more information please visit the Pinxav Website

You can buy PINXAV on the Pinxav website in a variety of sizes with FREE Shipping.

Have you ever tried Pinxav before? What do you think?

I am working with Pinxav on this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
