Peter Rabbit REVIEW and GIVEAWAY 3 WINNERS!!---CLOSED
I had the opportunity to try the Peter Rabbit Organics 100% pure fruit snack pouches. Peter Rabbit Organics was started in England by a couple who couldn't find organic children's products with no added sugar in stores. They have many different products that they make such as pasta sauce, ketchup and even cookies. As for right now they only sell the fruit pouches in the US. I hope they will be able to bring the other products to the US soon. My dad lives in England and my sister is getting ready to visit him. I wonder if I can get her to bring me back some of those yummy looking apple cookies.
I had read a lot about Peter Rabbit Organics online. I felt that they were a good nutritious option for children and adults. I was very curious to see what they were like. They are a drinkable fruit snack with no added sugar, salt or artificial ingredients. The pouches are also BPA free. You don’t even need a spoon since they are drinkable. I don’t know how many times I have gone somewhere and I forgotten a spoon. These pouches are perfect for babies that are ready for solid food, young children and even school aged children like to bring them in their lunches. Kids will enjoy them straight from the pouch. They have a choke-free cap so that makes the safe for younger children.
They are comparable to an applesauce consistency. They come in three varieties Apple & Grape, Mango, Banana & Orange, and Strawberry banana. The first one my son tried was the Apple and Grape. He was hesitant to try it at first and I had to show him how to "eat" it. Once he tried it he gobbled it up and even asked for MORE. I tried a little as well because I was interested in how it tasted. Noah's constant yummies had sparked my curiosity. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was compared to his other foods I have tasted. On Saturday we went to the county fair. I packed along the Strawberry Banana for him incase he was hungry. I gave it to him but he wasn't really in the mood for it. I guess he was more interested in the elephant ear I was eating. I did learn something really cool though. I thought once you took the cap off it wouldn't go back on. Nope it is resealible. If you are wondering how well it seals back up.... I had it in his stroller under a bunch of items along with my purse. There was no leakage at all. You can throw it in your purse or diaper bag and not worry about it breaking or making a huge mess.
When we got home Noah ate part of the strawberry banana. I stuck it in the Refrigerator because once it is open it should be refridgerated and consumed in 48 hours. On Sunday he happily ate the rest of the strawberry banana with his breakfast. He had lots of fun squeezing the pouch too. Sunday night I gave him the Mango, Banana & Orange. He asked me if he could have it for a snack before bed. He laughed the whole time while he was squeezing it. Every time he had one he studied the package and pointed out Peter Rabbit. He also named the fruits on the packages. I think his favorite flavor is the Apple and Grape. It was definitely a hit with my son. I highly recommend it to every parent. Not only is it organic and healthy but my son thought it was very tasty and fun.
The 3.5 ounce pouches are available at select Whole Foods Markets and independent natural food stores in a number of regions. The Suggested Retail price is $1.79. You can find out where to buy these pouches at Where to buy Peter Rabbit Organics .They are also available online at www.amazon.com if they aren’t accessible in your area.
Thank you Peter Rabbit Organics for the Opportunity to try the fruit pouches.
