Classico Pizza Sauce Review
I love to eat pizza. Honestly it is hard to find really good pizza. I have a favorite pizza place that is now over 1,000 miles away. I have searched and searched and nothing I found has compared to it. It is also a lot of fun to make your own. I remember growing up when my family would make pizzas together. It is great when you have a picky eater because everyone can make their own. Noah's ideal pizza would just have cheese on it. He also talks about wanting cherry pizza or apple pizza. I think that comes from me making fruit pizza my whole life. He loves the dessert fruit pizza. I love all kinds of pizza.
Did you know that October is National Pizza Month? So in honor of National Pizza Month, I had the opportunity to receive Classico Pizza Sauce to try out. Most people know Classico from their delicious pasta sauces. I also want to say good pizza sauce is also good to find. We tried the Fire Roasted Pizza Sauce. I love the flavors of a fire roasted tomato. I think fire roasting tomatoes changes the flavor. It gives it a more smoky and savory taste. We also tried the Traditional Pizza Sauce. I really like this one too. I think although it has great flavors I would classify it as more of a family sauce. The Traditional Sauce is what you think of when you eat a pizza. It would be great on English Muffins with cheese for a delicious lunch.
We also received the White Pizza Sauce. I don't think I have ever had pizza with a white sauce before. It looks really interesting and delicious. I haven't tried the White Pizza Sauce yet because I have had a lot of pizza lately. I will be sure to update my post when I do. The White Sauce won't be out for a while. I received a special sneak peak.
So now you have great sauce so what kinds of toppings do you put on it? My favorite is sausage and onion. I like pizza with all kinds of toppings on it. It all depends on who I am sharing pizza with. Cheese is really important too. Of course you are going to use Mozzarella or some kind of Italian cheese blend. Regardless of which I use, I always throw on some Parmesan. I use either shredded or shaved Parmesan. You can even use Provolone if you want. Be creative and have fun. Enjoy the special time you have with your family and friends.
What is your favorite way to make a pizza?
I received a Pizza Kit from Classico to facilitate my review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Whole Fruit Sorbet Review
I know it is December and it is not typical to eat frozen
desserts in the winter, but now that I live in Florida it is very acceptable to
do so and to go to the beach on Christmas Eve. I would like to debunk the myth
that if you live in a cold area that you can’t eat cold treats in the winter
because of course you can. I wouldn’t
recommend doing it outside of course but in the comfort of your home it makes a
delicious treat, especially if your throat is sore and you want something to
soothe it. I had the chance to try out
some Whole Fruit Sorbet. I don’t think I
had ever had sorbet before. If I had, I
didn’t realize it. Honestly I didn’t know the difference between Sorbet and Sherbet.
I love sherbet so I figured they were like cousins. The difference between sorbet and sherbet is,
sherbet is made with dairy and sorbet is made without dairy. Therefore sorbet
would be a great treat for those with lactose intolerance issues.
Whole Fruit is a part of the J&J Snackfood Company who
also makes Super Pretzel, another favorite of mine. Whole Fruit has many
delicious flavors of sorbet ,made with chunks of real
fruit, Whole Fruit® Sorbet offers a great tasting treat! It's
available in seven refreshing and fruity flavors that deliver a healthier
dessert option this holiday season. Whole Fruit is
- Fat-free
- Dairy-free
- Gluten-free
- Soy-free
- Made with real fruit
I was lucky enough to try Black Cherry, Raspberry, Lemon,
Mango and Strawberry. There are also Peach
and Valencia Orange flavors. The sorbet comes in full pint sizes. I prefer pint
sizes because you can fit multiple flavors in your freezer at a time. The sorbets are so creamy. As their name
suggests, it is made with whole fruit and there is also real fruit chunks in the
sorbet. The fruit gives it an extra goodness in my opinion. My favorite is
definitely Black Cherry. I may or may not hoard the whole pint for myself. I don’t mind sharing the other flavors but
the Black Cherry is mine. I did allow Noah to try a spoonful or two of the
Black Cherry and he really liked it too.
His favorite flavor is the Raspberry. I like them all. I am not really a
mango person but since the Mango is so creamy and good, I do like it too. Whole Fruit will be a staple in our household.
I know they also have Whole Fruit Fruit Bars, which also comes in Black Cherry,
that would be perfect for our pier walks and adventures around town.

If you are looking for a creamy treat check out Whole Fruit.
You can find it in your grocer’s freezer section.
Thank you to J&J Snack Foods for providing me with a sample pack of Whole Fruit Sorbet to try out. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Bisquick Pancake Breakfast Review and LIVE Giveaway.
Nothing says breakfast like a hot stack of pancakes. Our favorite brand of pancake mix is Bisquick. That was the brand my mom used when I was growing up and the brand my grandma used, so naturally now as an adult I use Bisquick to make my son pancakes. We like them plain, but we have also have been known to throw in some chocolate chips or berries in the batter. Pancakes are little clouds of goodness. Noah loves all kinds of breakfast foods. He lovingly calls pancakes, cancakes.

Join the Bisquick Pancake Nation to find everything you need to know about planning and hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser. We really enjoyed our pancake breakfast and using our new cast iron griddle pan, Cast Iron skillets make me think of my grandma because she always cooked with one. It has now been passed on to my aunt Peggy. When we go and visit them in California my aunt Peggy will sometimes use her cast iron skillet along with her dishes and we will remember my grandma Rose. The great thing about cast iron is it lasts for forever.
We enjoyed the hot delicious pancakes too. Who doesn’t love pancakes? It is in my opinion the traditional American breakfast. They are so easy to make with Bisquick. Not sure when they are ready to be flipped? Just look for the bubbles and when they pop you are good to flip them. I really like the mixing bowl with the spout too. I am notorious for spilling things in the kitchen. Every time I am spooning something out I always get some on the counter. I didn’t with the mixing bowl.

Late July Cookies Review
“Cookies Cookies” Noah is a cookie monster. I sometimes wonder if he is a direct descendant of Cookie Monster himself. Not because he is blue or furry but because he loves cookies that much. So when I had the opportunity to try out some cookies from Late July I thought these would be perfect for my little cookie monster.
Late July is a family owned and operated organic snack company. It was started by Stephan Bernard and Nicole Dawes. Late July makes cookies in both full size and mini sandwich cookies. The full sized sandwich cookies flavors are Vanilla Bean and Dark Chocolate. The mini sandwich cookies come in mini milk chocolate and mini white chocolate. They also make two flavors of full size crackers Classic Saltines and Classic Rich crackers. There are mini peanut butter sandwich crackers too.
Everything they make is USDA certified organic made with fine ingredients.
Late July has been featured on The Food Network show Unwrapped. I learned a lot about Late July when I saw them featured on Unwrapped. One of the things I learned is the little boy and the dog is the Nicole’s son and dog. You can also find a secret number written in the sailboat that has to do with her son’s birthday. See if you can find it while you are snacking on these gourmet organic goodies.
We had the chance to try both varieties of the organic mini cookies. Noah loves them. He gobbles them up. The mini cookies they have animals on them because 10% of the profits go to the Jane Goodall Institute. Noah really likes to name the animals on the cookies as he eats them. It is really cute to listen to him talk about the animals. He asks for the cookies all the time. He calls them the cookies with the animals on them. I had to try them too. I love cookies too. I think they taste good. I have tried other organic cookies before and Late July tastes so much better than the other ones I tried. They don’t taste like they are a healthier option. We both like them a lot. We like to sit together and share a small bowl of cookies. I usually only get one or two though. I feel confident giving him Late July Organic Mini Cookies because they don’t have all the extras like High Fructose Corn Syrup in them. They are made with whole grain and are a good source of calcium.
You can find Late July products in stores. You can use the store locator on the side bar of the website to find a location near you!
For more information please visit Late July. Please visit the Late July store to order delicious cookies and crackers that your little one are sure to love.
Thank you to Late July for sending me some samples of mini organic cookies for me to review.

Peter Rabbit REVIEW and GIVEAWAY 3 WINNERS!!---CLOSED
I had the opportunity to try the Peter Rabbit Organics 100% pure fruit snack pouches. Peter Rabbit Organics was started in England by a couple who couldn't find organic children's products with no added sugar in stores. They have many different products that they make such as pasta sauce, ketchup and even cookies. As for right now they only sell the fruit pouches in the US. I hope they will be able to bring the other products to the US soon. My dad lives in England and my sister is getting ready to visit him. I wonder if I can get her to bring me back some of those yummy looking apple cookies.
I had read a lot about Peter Rabbit Organics online. I felt that they were a good nutritious option for children and adults. I was very curious to see what they were like. They are a drinkable fruit snack with no added sugar, salt or artificial ingredients. The pouches are also BPA free. You don’t even need a spoon since they are drinkable. I don’t know how many times I have gone somewhere and I forgotten a spoon. These pouches are perfect for babies that are ready for solid food, young children and even school aged children like to bring them in their lunches. Kids will enjoy them straight from the pouch. They have a choke-free cap so that makes the safe for younger children.
They are comparable to an applesauce consistency. They come in three varieties Apple & Grape, Mango, Banana & Orange, and Strawberry banana. The first one my son tried was the Apple and Grape. He was hesitant to try it at first and I had to show him how to "eat" it. Once he tried it he gobbled it up and even asked for MORE. I tried a little as well because I was interested in how it tasted. Noah's constant yummies had sparked my curiosity. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was compared to his other foods I have tasted. On Saturday we went to the county fair. I packed along the Strawberry Banana for him incase he was hungry. I gave it to him but he wasn't really in the mood for it. I guess he was more interested in the elephant ear I was eating. I did learn something really cool though. I thought once you took the cap off it wouldn't go back on. Nope it is resealible. If you are wondering how well it seals back up.... I had it in his stroller under a bunch of items along with my purse. There was no leakage at all. You can throw it in your purse or diaper bag and not worry about it breaking or making a huge mess.
When we got home Noah ate part of the strawberry banana. I stuck it in the Refrigerator because once it is open it should be refridgerated and consumed in 48 hours. On Sunday he happily ate the rest of the strawberry banana with his breakfast. He had lots of fun squeezing the pouch too. Sunday night I gave him the Mango, Banana & Orange. He asked me if he could have it for a snack before bed. He laughed the whole time while he was squeezing it. Every time he had one he studied the package and pointed out Peter Rabbit. He also named the fruits on the packages. I think his favorite flavor is the Apple and Grape. It was definitely a hit with my son. I highly recommend it to every parent. Not only is it organic and healthy but my son thought it was very tasty and fun.
The 3.5 ounce pouches are available at select Whole Foods Markets and independent natural food stores in a number of regions. The Suggested Retail price is $1.79. You can find out where to buy these pouches at Where to buy Peter Rabbit Organics .They are also available online at www.amazon.com if they aren’t accessible in your area.
Thank you Peter Rabbit Organics for the Opportunity to try the fruit pouches.
