It seems like forever ago when Noah was a baby in his little
car seat. At the same time it seems like yesterday. Now that a friend of mine
is expecting their first baby, I was thinking about car seat safety. Especially
in winter where we seem to be in a hurry to get out of the cold. It’s crazy how
much things have changed since Noah was a baby. It wasn’t that long ago. For
example I didn’t know kids shouldn’t wear coats in their car seats until Noah
was a little older. He didn’t wear a coat or shoes when he was a baby. I just
used blankets. It makes sense though. I am pretty sure I was in a full bunting
and blankets when I was in my infant car seat. I hope to help my friend drive
safely with the new little baby. Of course I won’t give advice unless asked but,
if their car seat is installed wrong, forget about it. I will say something for
safety reasons, of course. Their baby is due in March so it will still be cold
out so hopefully they and you will check out my post about Winter Car Seat Tips.
