When Noah was younger I used to tell him stories. It was
always the same story. Well, it always started out the same, Once upon a time,
there was a little boy named Noah and he lived in his house with his mommy and
grandma and they got in the green car and they went to…. From there we went to
the store, the zoo, the airport you name it, we did it. When we got rid of the
green car which was the most beautiful shade of green, the story changed to the
blue car when that changed it also changed to a big boy named Noah. Our
adventures were sillier, Noah helped tell the stories more it was a lot of fun.
I even have a few on video. I can't share them with you because Noah says they are embarrassing. Think about how car color has an influence on you.
When I was little, I used to sit on my grandparents’ front porch with my
grandpa and count cars by color. Sometimes we would each have a color. Other
times we would try and guess what color car was coming next. My Grandpa let me
win a lot. The winner got a candy bar. His favorite was Kit Kat, my favorite
changed at least monthly if not while I was in the candy aisle. I loved spending time with my gramps watching
the cars go by.I sure beat watching cat videos or Netflix. No one had smart phones so it was cool to have all that undivided attention and time together. I would trade in my smart phone to spend one more day with my grandparents.
