I would have been a fool if I didn’t try to help. Within a few weeks and with a wonderful team, we sent hundreds of thousands of shoes to adults and children who had been affected and lost everything. This happened again after Hurricane Katrina and then the earthquake in Haiti. In total, over 17 million shoes were sent to people who were in need after natural disasters.

It was all of those experiences that led me to Funds2Orgs. Over the years, I’ve spoken to thousands of people. And, what I realized is that a lot of people associated with schools, youth sports groups, nonprofits, churches and others felt like I did when I was raising money for my daughter’s school and clubs. There’s donor fatigue. People don’t want to sell things, and donors always want to have to support their favorite cause with money.
